What is embodiment coaching?
You can’t think your way through every feeling.
You might already know your patterns. You might even understand where they came from. And still, when something happens, you find yourself reacting the same way.
Embodiment coaching brings your body into the conversation.
Together, we pay attention to what you feel, the meaning you attach to it, and what you do next. We use real experiences from your life to understand your reactions and explore the choices available to you.
You don’t have to get rid of fear, anger, sadness, or discomfort to make a different choice. You can learn to be with those feelings without letting them make every decision.
A note: Coaching supports self-awareness and the everyday choices you make. It isn’t therapy and doesn’t replace mental health treatment. If you’re working with a therapist or counselor, coaching can sit alongside that support.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Feel. Discern. Choose. Integrate.
01
FEEL
Notice what’s happening in your body. Make room for the feeling before rushing to explain, judge, or fix it.
02
DISCERN
Separate what you feel from the story you’re telling yourself. Get curious about your patterns, what you’re protecting, and what belongs to you.
03
CHOOSE
Explore what you want, what you need, and what you can do next. Practice making choices that include you.
04
INTEGRATE
Bring what you’re learning into everyday life. Notice a familiar reaction, try something different, and return to the practice when you forget. This is how understanding becomes something you can use.
A monthly coaching package
One month of support. Space to go deeper. Time to practice.
Up to two in-person coaching sessions with Christine at The Red Thread in Janesville, Wisconsin. (Available online, as well)
Two 20-minute check-ins during the month to talk through what’s coming up and apply what you’re learning.
Our sessions begin with what’s happening in your life. A conversation you can’t stop replaying. A boundary you’re struggling to set. Resentment, fear, or a reaction you don’t understand.
I offer questions, guided attention to body sensations, reflection, and practical ways to explore what’s underneath your reaction. Together, we connect what you’re noticing to your relationships and the choices you want to make.
The check-ins give us time to reconnect between sessions, work through real situations, and keep practicing.

Upcoming: The River Project · Coming January 2027
Learn to stay with yourself.
The River Project is an upcoming eight-week group experience about becoming an all-the-way-to-the-river friend to yourself.
What happens when you discover something about yourself that’s uncomfortable? When you feel afraid, recognize a familiar pattern, or realize something needs to change?
This is a space to practice staying. Getting curious. Learning from your own lived experiences without turning what you discover into another reason to judge yourself.
Together, we’ll move through Feel, Discern, Choose, and Integrate, using guided reflection, practical exercises, and shared conversation.
Inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert’s All the Way to the River. No book or required reading—your life is the material we work with.

Meet Christine
A space to be human.
I’m Christine Hopkins, an Embodiment & Sensuality Coach and co-founder of The Red Thread.
My work is about helping you understand yourself with more curiosity and less judgment. We can talk about the reactions you’re embarrassed by, the patterns you keep repeating, and the things you’re still trying to find words for.
You don’t need to arrive with it all figured out. We start with what’s here.
